The Pakistan Mission to the United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), successfully hosted “Pakistan Night”, a high-profile networking event showcasing Pakistan’s digital potential and fostering partnerships between Pakistani tech companies and the global innovation ecosystem.

Pakistan’s Tech Destination Pavilion was officially inaugurated today at GITEX Global 2025, marking a powerful continuation of the country’s rise as a global technology hub. The inauguration ceremony was led by Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, accompanied by Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to the UAE, Mr. Rafique Ahmed Buriro, Additional Secretary Ministry of IT & Telecom & CEO Ignite, H.E. Hussain Muhammad , Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, Brigadier Syed Nadir Hussain Shah, Special Investment Facilitation Council, (SIFC), CEO of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Mr Abu Bakar, CEO National Information Technology Board (NITB), Mr Faisal Ratyal, Chairman P@SHA, Mr Syed Sajjad and Trade & Investment Counsellor Mr. Ali Zeb Khan. The event drew participation from industry leaders, international investors, and global media.

Expand North Star 2025, taking place at Dubai Harbour from 12th to 15th October, is the region’s premier platform connecting global start-ups, investors, and innovators. The Pakistan Pavilion at Expand North Star 2025 was inaugurated today by Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to the UAE alongside Mr. Rafique Ahmed Buriro, Additional Secretary, Ministry of IT & Telecom/CEO Ignite, H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai; Mr. Ali Zeb Khan, Trade Counsellor; Mr. Muhammad Saleh, Press Counsellor; and Mr. Bilal Abbasi, General Manager (Projects), Ignite - National Technology Fund. The Advisor to the Finance Minister, Mr. Khurram Schehzad, was also present on the inauguration.

H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai was the Chief Guest at the 2nd Edition of the Pakistan Business Council (PBC)’s Speed Networking Event, held at the Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD). This special edition of the event was organized to commemorate Pakistan’s Independence Day, which brought together a diverse group of Pakistani professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from various sectors. The platform provided an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and foster business relationships within the Pakistani community in the UAE.
