The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has marked its largest-ever participation at Gulfood 2026, the world’s leading food and beverage trade exhibition, with the inauguration of the Pakistan Pavilion in Dubai. The 31st edition of Gulfood brings together more than 1.5 million products showcased by 8,500 exhibitors from 195 countries, spanning over 12 food and beverage sectors. Pakistan’s expanded presence at this premier global platform highlights the country’s sustained efforts to enhance exports, diversify markets, and strengthen engagement with global food value chains.

H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, visited the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Dubai to express condolences on the passing of Begum Khaleda Zia, Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and former Prime Minister of Bangladesh. The Big 5 Global event brings together advancements in supply chain solutions, technologies, urban planning and design and facilities management. It showcases how the real estate and construction sectors are adapting to emerging global demands.
H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, attended the launch ceremony of Pakistani author Saniya Chughtai’s pre-teen fantasy novel Marni Khan and the Ancient Silk Route, the first book in her new series The Rise of the Energy Warriors. The book was officially launched at the Sharjah International Book Fair. The Consul General appreciated the author for showcasing the creativity, imagination, and strength of the Pakistani people, noting that the book inspires unity and confidence among young readers. He stated that the novel offers culturally rooted literature that ignites a passion for reading. Mr. Hussain further remarked that the book highlights Pakistan’s diverse regions and natural wonders, while also presenting a positive image of Pakistan to international audiences through imaginative fiction.
