H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General met H.E. Mona G. Al Marri, Director General Government of Dubai Media Office, on October 23, 2024. The meeting focussed on strengthening Pakistan-UAE relationship through media collaboration, with a special focus on highlighting bilateral ties. Both sides emphasized the importance of utilizing media platforms to showcase the historical, cultural, and economic connections between Pakistan and the UAE. Efforts to promote Pakistan’s tourism, cultural heritage and arts were also discussed during the meeting.

Dubai, October 2024: H.E. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at GITEX Global 2024 today at the Dubai World Trade Centre. In his remarks, Ambassador Tirmizi expressed his pride in GITEX Global’s recognition of Pakistan as the “Tech Destination of the Year 2024,” a recognition of the country’s impressive advancements in IT-related services and products.

Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi met with H.E. Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UAE Chambers) and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) on 3 October, 2024. He is also Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Ambassador Tirmizi congratulated H.E. Al Zaabi on his appointment.

H.E Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE visited Synergy University Dubai, today. The visit was aimed at exploring avenues for Pakistani students to benefit from Synergy University’s programmes, as well as discuss the university’s potential expansion into Pakistan.

H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General was the Chief Guest at Chinar Business Conference held at Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) on 5th October 2024. The event was arranged to bring together industry leaders & professionals from various sectors and provide networking opportunities to businessmen and entrepreneurs.

Pakistan Education Academy (PEA) held Academic Excellence Award Ceremony at the school’s auditorium in Oud Metha, Dubai. The event, aimed at celebrating the outstanding achievements of top-performing students and teachers, which was graced by H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan, as the Chief Guest.

A dedicated team from the Consulate General of Pakistan conducted a visit to the Al Awir Immigration Center set up by General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai and observed various amnesty services at the Centre. The UAE government’s amnesty initiative provides an invaluable opportunity for individuals to regularize their residency status and address any outstanding legal matters related to immigration. The consulate team was given an overview of the measures in place to assist individuals in resolving residency issues swiftly and efficiently.

In a gesture of recognition and admiration, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, H.E. Hussain Muhammad, honored Mr. Muhammad Siddique Baksh, a long-standing Pakistani expatriate, with a Certificate of Appreciation for his exemplary conduct and outstanding contributions to the UAE.
