


Consul General Meets Pakistan Business Council Dubai’s Members H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General held a meeting with the new Board of Pakistan Business Council (PBC) Dubai at the Consulate General of Pakistan, today. Mr. Shabbir Merchant, Chairman of the PBC introduced the newly inducted members and shared the council’s strategic roadmap for 2025-2026. Mr. Merchant stated that PBC aims to strengthen the relationship between Pakistan and UAE through collaborative efforts in trade, investment and cultural exchanges. He added that the Council is committed to avail opportunities for mutual growth and foster a deeper connection between the two nations. Congratulating the new board, H.E. Hussain Muhammad extended his best wishes to the members and appreciated PBC’s efforts in promoting Pakistan’s economic potential in the UAE. He encouraged them to take concrete steps towards enhancing bilateral trade and investment between Pakistan and the UAE. The Consul General emphasized the need for business leaders to explore opportunities in Pakistan’s diverse sectors, including IT, manufacturing, agriculture and tourism. He said that Pakistan offers immense potential for investment and trade, with Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) established as a single window to facilitate investors. He urged the Pakistan Business Council to act as a bridge for creating new partnerships and expanding existing ones. The Consul General assured the council of the Consulate’s support and reaffirmed the mission’s commitment to strengthening the Pakistan-UAE relationship. The meeting was also attended by Ali Zeb Khan, Trade & Investment Counsellor and other senior officials of the Consulate and members of the PBC.



Harvard University’s International Relations Council (IRC), in collaboration with WorldView Education, organized the Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) Dubai 2025 from January 11 to 13 at Le Meridien Hotel & Conference Center. The event brought together over 1,000 students representing 73 institutions from 48 countries.


H.E. Md. Rashedujjaman, Consul General of Bangladesh in Dubai paid a courtesy call on H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan, at the Consulate General of Pakistan today. Welcoming the visiting Consul General, Mr. Hussain emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan, particularly in trade. Both Consuls General acknowledged the potential for collaboration and agreed to engage their respective consulates’ trade sections to further promote bilateral cooperation.

H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General was the Chief Guest an event hosted by Pakistanis in Dubai (PID) for reaching 200,000 members. The event titled “PID Business Summit”, held in Ajman, was attended by Pakistani community members, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.








The Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) and the Pakistan Business Council in Sharjah hosted the Sharjah-Pakistan Business Roundtable at Sharjah, today. The event brought together over 200 investors and entrepreneurs to explore opportunities for strengthening economic ties and fostering bilateral investments between Sharjah and Pakistan. Speaking at the event, H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General highlighted the historic and deep-rooted relationship between Pakistan and the UAE. He emphasized that the bond between the two countries is built on shared values, traditions, and a collective commitment to progress. He further noted that the leadership of Pakistan and the UAE share mutual trust and confidence and have a strong desire to expand political, trade, and economic relations.








Mr. Zubair Motiwala, Chief Executive, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) along with Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to UAE inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at the 10th Edition of Gulfood Manufacturing 2024 (5-7 November 2024) today at the Dubai World Trade Centre. H.E Hussain Muhammad, Consul General and Ali Zeb Khan, Trade Counsellor Dubai were also present on the occasion.
